Stumptown Coffee Roasters | She & Him Eats

Today is one of those long days where I find myself needing a third cup of coffee. So instead of running to the espresso machine or my local coffee shop, I decided to work on this coffee related She & Him Eats post all about our visit to Stumptown Coffee Roasters in Portland, Oregon. I hope you enjoy it, let's begin!
If you haven't already heard about Stumptown Coffee Roasters, Stumptown are craft coffee pioneers from the Northwest that are known for sourcing and serving some of the best coffee, espresso and cold brew in the world. It was founded in 1999, and it's headquartered resides in Portland, Oregon and to this day it operates 10 retail cafes in Portland, Seattle, New York, Los Angeles, and New Orleans.

Ricky and I are very familiar with Stumptown, we often buy their coffee beans at Whole Foods or Target bur for whatever reason, we never made it to a Stumptown coffee shop to grab a coffee. However, during our most recent trip to Portland we made it a must on our itinerary.
There's multiple Stumptown locations around Portland but Ricky and I visited the downtown location which is only two blocks away from Voodoo Doughnut. Walking into the shop I realized this coffee shop is a blogger's dream. The coffee shop is sort of like a giant living room with large tables, artwork on the walls, beautiful live plants, and good lighting! And you know every blogger loves good lighting, everything inside this coffee shop felt very aesthetically pleasing.
Now, let's talk about the coffee! It was a cold day in Portland...nothing new so I decided to order a warm Vanilla Latte.

First and foremost, can I just say look at this beautiful coffee art, perfection!
Immediately after taking my first sip of coffee, I realized Stumptown definitely knows their coffee! The latte was bold, rich and flavorful. It had a slight hint of vanilla but it was not too sweet, just the perfect amount of sweetness. I thoroughly enjoyed every sip, I loved it so much that I even went back the next day for another latte.
Also with my latte, I ordered a Ham and Cheese Croissant but I ended up loving my coffee so much that I gave Ricky the croissant, and he said the ham and cheese croissant was delightful and crunchy.
Something kind of random but one of my favorite things inside Stumptown Coffee Roasters, were their serving cups. The cup and saucer had an adorable gold horse shoe and the words good luck, so cute! I was hoping they have them available for purchase but unfortunately they didn't.

Knowing that I am a huge coffee enthusiast, it was no surprise that we checked out Stumptown Coffee Roasters while in Portland. I highly recommend visit if you're a coffee lover or if you need a place to meet, work, hang out, catch up with old friends, or just relax. This is the perfect location, it was easy to find a spot, get comfortable, and take a break. I must admit at time it did get a bit busy but that's natural since they're unbelievably popular and it shows because of the constant flow of people coming in to grab a coffee. I hope you enjoyed today's post and I'll see you all next time!

What's your opinion?
