The Museum of Ice Cream in San Francisco, originally started as a temporary location but it's continuing to grow and has now opened a cafe serving its own ice cream, plus coffee and snacks. Called Cafe 1905C, after MOIC’s famous pink Pantone. The cafe is located at 1 Grant Avenue on the ground floor of the historic bank building occupied by the MOIC. So join me today for another very sweet and pink She & Him Eats.
The new cafe 1905C is open to the public and it doesn’t require a $38 ticket like the rest of the Museum. I think it's perfect that the MOIC finally open a cafe, since most museums usually have a cafe.
The MOIC team partnered with chef Deuki Hong of Sunday Bird to work on the menu. The menu consist of many delicious sweet like fried dough, bubble tea, and even french fries. The cafe also proudly serves coffee from Andytown Coffee and tea from Tea People.
The cafe also carries an assortment of their very own ice cream like Cherrylicious (Maraschino cherry ice cream with sugar cookie bits) and Churro Churro (cinnamon with churro pieces) The kitchen team also plans to eventually experiment with some exclusive in-house flavors.

While we waited for our drinks Ricky and I decided to look around the MOIC Shop and of course take some pictures.
With all the new changes made, the MOIC Shop is also now carrying a brand new retail collection filled with rainbow themed merchandise for all ages. I had a 25% off voucher for my entire purchase and I was really tempted to buy a shirt, especially the sprinkle pool t-shirt but I decided to skip on it. Maybe next time!
Eventually after a little mishap (they made my drink hot instead of Iced), Ricky and I received our drinks. I ordered an Iced Latte, and it was pretty standard. As for Ricky, he ordered a Strawberry Rice Milk. Ricky's drink was suppose to have boba, however they had just ran out but the nice employee did offer to give us a free scoop of ice cream but we nicely declined it because we had one too many sweets inside the MOIC. The strawberry rice milk tasted exactly like what we imagined, it could of been a little bit sweeter but overall it was refreshing.
Lastly, I was very intrigued by this red wall with pink curtains. I figured they probably had stairs to go upstairs (as you can see in the bottom picture.) However, it wasn't accessible but after some light reading I found out that the MOIC team recently applied for it's license to serve beer and wine in their new bar space in its mezzanine area, overlooking the sprinkle pool! How awesome is that?! They’re teasing “wine and beer cocktails combined with the sweetest toppings and one-of-a-kind flavor profiles,” Assuming all goes well, the MOIC team hopes to open before summer. So definitely stay tuned for a future blog post once it's open.
Since Cafe 1905C was relatively small we decided to grab our delightful drinks and head out because the weather was beautiful and we had the whole day to explore the city.

The cafe looks super cute. I would definitely like to visit it one day. I love my MOIC tee but I recently had to toss it away since Rudys jeans dyed and ruined it. It only means I will need to pick up another one ;) This was such a cute and fun post and made me want to visit even sooner!
