Currently

Today I have for you all a life update post, also known as my Currently series. There's been so many things I've been currently loving, planning, and feelings and I wanted to share them with you. So without further ado, let's start on this long awaited Currently post!

LOVING

I don't think I have ever mentioned this but on my free time, as in when I'm not working on my blog, my freelance projects, or out an about, I like to play video games. Ever since Ricky purchased us a Nintendo Switch I have been playing a lot more. Currently, I am loving the New Super Mario Bros. U. We spend all weekend playing all night long, it's so entertaining! Before this game I was obsessed with Super Mario Odyssey, and your girl completed it! Ricky has always been a gamer and I love that we both share this common interest. I'm the brains and he's the talented highly skilled gamer and I love that we both enjoy playing together. But don't get me wrong, we can both be very competitive with each other, especially on Mario Kart.

PLANNING

On cutting my hair! Yes, I think a haircut is long over due. It's been over a year since I cut it and it's pretty long right now, well to me it is but I realize I love having short hair. So I'm hoping in the next few days my hair stylist can set me up for an appointment. I'm hoping to possibly get some Bangs, also known as a fringe. It's been over 6 years since I've had bangs and I think I might try it again.

FEELING

Last week I was feeling very blah! A few days prior to that, I was already looking for an excuse why I felt and looked so bloated. Then eventually I decided to weight myself and I realized I wasn't bloated, I had actually gain some weight. After that, I had a minor breakdown because I realized that I let myself go. I know I have always fluctuate when it comes to my weight but when I saw a specific number I never wanted to see, was when it broke me down. So after my minor breakdown, I decided to  not dwell on it and do something about it. Which bring me to my next topic, things I am currently changing...

CHANGING

So like I mentioned above I decided not to dwell on the problem for too long and instead I took out my workout equipment and I did a work out that same day! I figure I can't continue blaming the holidays for the extra weight. Now I am happy to say I am currently working out everyday, and I have been consistent for a week. Along with working out everyday I am also currently changing a few other things especially my eating habits. I'll share more in the future on my blog, I've made a section that will consists all about Health & Wellness, so definitely check it out.

LOOKING FORWARD TO

My birthday! It's my birthday on Thursday and I am so excited! Originally we had a trip planned but due to some possible changes that might happen we decided to postpone it to be safe. However after thinking about it for a while, it's more like canceled now because we also had a change of heart and decided to change that trip to another place. But if everything goes well, Ricky and I are hoping to book two very exciting trips, one in the states and one overseas and you best believe I am planning a bunch of things for us to do but first we must wait to see how this work week ends. Anyways, my birthday will come and it will be great! I also get to see and hangout with my BFF, Juliana that day. And on the weekend Ricky has a few thing planned for us to do. I am so excited and I can't thank Ricky enough for always spoiling me.

Thank you for joining me today! I'll see you all soon with another She & Him Adventures.

What's your opinion?

  1. I need to start exercising more. I wish I was more like Rudy and actually enjoyed working out lol. I'm doing baby steps by slowly making sure I remain active a lot more throughout the day. This shouldn't be difficult since most days I'm constantly on the go. I can't wait to see you tomorrow! It always feels like the old days whenever we hang out and I'm excited that I get to celebrate your birthday with you!
