I'm going to try to limit myself to one item per category but I'm sure for one of the categories *cough cough* shows, I will not be able to narrow it down to one.
My favorite skincare product hands down was the Sunday Riley Space Race Fight Acne, Oil + Pores at Warp Speed Kit which includes the Saturn Sulfur Acne Treatment Mask, the U.F.O. Ultra-Clarifying Face Oil, and the Martian Mattifying Melting Water-Gel Toner. I bought this kit at the begin of the year because I noticed I was breaking out more often especially around that time of the month and this kit saved my skin tremendously. I try not to over use it but I do apply a generous amount on whenever I see a few breakouts and I instantly see an improvement the next morning. The only downside is that the full sizes are expensive but I highly suggest trying the kit first.
MAKEUP
This past year I definitely became more of a Skincare kind of gal but occasionally I do enjoy putting on makeup. For a long time I always purchased my mascara from Target, nothing fancy just something that applied mascara. However, earlier this year I tried for the first time thanks to Ipsy the Milk Makeup KUSH High Volume Mascara, and I immediately fell in love! First of all, the packaging feels so luxurious! It's so beautiful and definitely worth mentioning. Secondly, the formula is amazing! It lengthened my lashes and added volume right away. Its also buildable and it doesn't clump up. It's so impressive, I just love how it makes my lashes look and I will definitely continue using it in 2019.
I'm going to make this one short because I have way too many shows but I highly suggest you give them a try, if you haven't already seen them. The Haunting of Hill House, this is the first show I have ever been truly scared of. The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, a great remake with a wicked dark background. American Horror Story: Apocalypse, simply watch it because the witches are back and Cordelia is the F*cken Supreme! Succession, another amazing HBO series! The Handmaid's Tale, based on one of my favorite and best-selling novel by Margaret Atwood and the cast is incredible! Maniac, because Netflix is killing it with their original series.
I'll also make this one short because I didn't expect to talk this much on this post. So favorite movies of 2018; Suspiria, Isle of Dogs, Bird Box, and Avengers: Infinity War.
Lastly, and kind of random is my blog! I've seen such growth with my blog this past year. I started the year kind of slow and unmotivated but as soon as I picked up my camera, my sketch book, and I started planning, I was on a roll and did not stop at all! I am so happy with my blog and I'm already planning a ton of fun events and blog posts. This is the year I step out of my comfort zone and I am really excited to see whats to come in the future. Thank you so much for always joining me and I cant wait to share with you all another year of my many adventures.
Those were all of my 2018 Favorites. I hope you guys enjoyed this post, let me know in the comments below what's your favorite 2018 product, show, movie, memory, anything you wish to share.
FRAGRANCE
As someone who was obsessed with only using Viktor&Rolf Flowerbomb perfume, this year I decided to venture out and try new perfumes and let me just say anything Jo Malone is my new obsession! My amazing best friend Juliana gifted me the Jo Malone Wild Bluebell Cologne, and I found myself really loving it this past year. Its fresh and floral, and it was the perfect cologne for Spring and Summer! Along the way I've purchased and received a few more colognes by Jo Malone, so I'm really excited to try them out in 2019.
HAIR
My next favorite product of 2018 was the Ouai Scalp & Body Scrub, this scrub is a deep-cleansing, foaming skin and scalp scrub. The scent is amazing! It's indescribable but it smells delicious! The reason I love this is because my scalp can get very dry at times, especially during the Winter and I've noticed this has helps a lot with my dry scalp. After I use it, my scalp feels refreshed, moisturized and my hair smells amazing! Even Ricky agrees, he loves using it! As soon as I finished my first one, I immediately purchased a second one because I loved it that much!
For sure my favorite clothing item of 2018 were my H&M Black High Waisted Paper Bag Pants. I wore those pants so much, it was so easy to dress them up and dress them down. My favorite thing was that you could wear a regular band t-shirt with them and yet it would look effortlessly classy. After 2018, I think owning a pair of high waisted paper bag pants is a must.
MANSUR GAVRIEL!!! Earlier this year I purchased my first ever Mansur Gavriel purse. I purchased the Black Saffiano Bucket Bag with the beautiful red interior. This bag is a dream! I always get a ton of compliments when I'm using it, people always ask me what brand it is because it's so stunning! I must admit at first I thought it might be a big too big, but after using it a lot I realized I do love the size! I use this purse a lot when I travel and I love that I can fit just about anything and yet still have space to put it more. This was definitely one of my favorite purchases of 2018 because shortly after I purchased it I bought another MG purse. And now, for a few months I've been eyeing their Sun and Lady bags, let's see which one I get in 2019!
Next we have the Tech category, this was easy! Hands down my favorite tech purchase was my 27-inch iMac! For a long time I didn't think I needed one but after finishing college I found myself working more from home and I figured I should purchase something that will help me when it comes to working from home. I couldn't be any happier with this purchase, I've been using it a lot this past year especially when it comes to my blog! A runner up is my Breville The Barista Express Espresso Machine, because coffee is life!

Girl! I seriously wanted put everything DE but I really limited myself to only talking about one so I can give a good review about it but believe me I had a bunch of DE and Fresh products also on the list. ❤
DeleteReading your post made me think about what were my favorite 2018 products and I would have to say: Olehenriksen line and a couple of Lush products. The black MG bag is really cute and you have me missing IPSY. But overall, I love your 2018 Favorite List, you have many good things!
ReplyDeleteThank you! That MG bag is my favorite, I love it!
DeleteIpsy has been sending me some really good products lately and I recently received 6 items in my bag and not the normal 5, I was shook! However, I did recently subscribe to the Allure Beauty Box it's $5 more but I've heard great things. So I'm going to see how I like it and eventually only be subscribed to one.
I've always wanted to try the Olehenriksen line, I'm interested to see what you like from them, you should make a post!
