Candytopia | She & Him Adventures

Welcome to another magical She & Him Adventures! Hold your breath, make a wish, count to three...Come with me, and you'll be in a world of pure imagination. Take a look and you'll see into...Candytopia! After a successful run in LA, Candytopia has finally made its way to San Francisco. Candytopia is a real-life Candyland! The creator of Candytopia, is none other that the Candy Queen herself, Jackie Sorkin. Jackie made her incredible vision come to life with a colorful, Willy Wonka style Candyland! This magical Candyland is a place that everyone can truly enjoy. If you loved every delicious treat and ice cream-unicorn-rainbow-sprinkled Instagram background at the Museum of Ice Cream, than you'll be delighted to visit this confectionery wonderland! Are you ready for a Candytopia sugar rush? Let's begin!

We began our journey into Candytopia with a photo op. The photo ops are endless at Candytopia! They have staff members everywhere and are more than willing to take a few pictures, just make sure to ask nicely.

After we were done taking our picture in front of the Candytopia sign, we shifted over to the side while we waited for everyone. Inside this steampunk style waiting area, a staff member also told us some do's and don'ts. You can touch the candy art but you can’t eat it, and please be gentle with it
How amazing is this dragon? And it's made out of peach gummies, yum! After everyone finished taking a picture and enjoyed a piece of taffy, a dance party started and we were ready to enter Candytopia.

The first room we entered was the Chocolate Library! Here we got to meet a librarian, who told us all about the wonderful world inside Candytopia. When she was done talking, a huge clock lowered from the ceiling and it was filled with Lindt Truffle chocolates, both milk and dark chocolate! I immediately knew this would be a magical experience!

rAINBOW Escalator

After exiting the chocolate library we entered a psychedelic hallway. No one really paid attention to this hallway but Ricky and I did! We stayed behind and took a few awesome photographs of this colorful hallway.

The rainbow escalator lowered us into a beautiful and bright Candyland! Ricky and I felt like we walked into Willy Wonka's  Chocolate Room. It was so cute and a staff member immediately greeted us with a smile and a Tootsie Roll Lollipop!
This was one of my favorite pictures taken inside Candytopia!

candy art Gallery

Next was the candy art gallery! The gallery is a beautiful and magical room, where all of the art was made out of candy. Yes Candy! Take a closer look at all of the art, it's stunning! You truly appreciate all of the artistry and work put into making these beautiful pieces of art!
Inside the gallery we also got to sit on a gorgeous mirror throne, Game of Thrones vibes anyone? Next to the throne, was a box filled with Now and Later candies, I must admit I grabbed a handful!

on cloud candy

The next room had two of the coolest walls ever! The first one being this realistic sky background, it really felt like we were on cloud nine or should I say cloud candy? These two inflatable balls may look totally adorable but I must warn you they are extremely heavy!

sliding into candy

Time to slide into some DM's, I mean candy! This photo op was everything! Ricky and I took probably one to many pictures here. I'm pretty sure I could dedicate an entire post about this wall but instead I'll leave it short and sweet!

sweet swim

Next, we entered an underwater world of candy fishes, sharks and even some divers, including you! Inside this room we were greeted with some delicious Pixy Stix! I'm not sure if you haven't noticed but there's candy everywhere to eat! Ricky and I love sweets, so we were in love with all of the treats!

Next was the unicorn room and probably my favorite room! This room was filled with rainbows, unicorns, and confetti! Let’s face it…we’re all a little obsessed with social media and getting the perfect photo and the Trolli photo op inside this room was everything! Take a look for yourself...
At the end of this room you were also able to get a full size bag of Trolli candy! How awesome is that?

Unfortunately there isn't a river of chocolate to fall into at Candytopia, but you can fall into pit of marshmallows! This is probably the room that you see the most online because it is a huge ball pit full of foam marshmallows! So dive into this incredible marshmallow pit. Just kidding, no diving is allowed! The marshmallow pit is the only timed area. You get 5 minutes to play around and/or take pictures and Ricky and I definitely took advantage of that time and took as many pictures as we could! The marshmallow room was probably the highlight of the entire experience because it was so much fun and we got some adorable pictures.

And finally this Golden Gate Bridge photo op was the final stop of Candytopia, well before the candy shop of course. Before exiting Candytopia we were given our last treat a full size Dark Chocolate Crunch Bar! Yaaaas!
So as you can see, Candytopia was a sweet escape! We enjoyed every minute of it. Everyone walks in with a smile and leave with an ever bigger smile! I mean come on they have an endless supply of candy! You will definitely leave Candytopia with a sugar fix! If you ever dreamed of nibbling your way through Candyland or scoring a Golden Ticket, than Candytopia is the place to visit! I suggest you treat yourself to Candytopia, and let your tastebuds and your imagination soar! Until next time, stay sweet!
