1. How long have you been blogging?
I first started blogging in 2010 but it mainly consisted of photographs and a few words here and there. I started blogging in Peppermintheart in 2016. If you want to learn more about how I started go and read my newly updated About Me, I'm really proud of it.
I decided to start blogging as a way to express myself and showcase my art to the digital world. I immediately fell in love with blogging when I realized how in sync blogging was with my everyday life. For example, when I would set up my lighting studio for my freelance work, I would not only shoot my clients photographs but I would also shoot some stuff for my blog. Another example, I would sit on the computer to design a logo, an invitation, or etc. for a client and once I finished my work I'll start designing something for my blog. It all worked so perfect and it made me love blogging.
Staying on top of things. I'm usually very motivated to work on a post but sometimes life is just too busy and I don't have anytime. The second thing would be growing my blog, I'm always looking for ways to grow my blog. What I mean by grow, I mean finding ways to grow my blog to a bigger platform, more readers, grow my social interactions, a variety of things. It's sometimes challenging but I don't let it affect my life.
Definitely having a platform where I can connect with women who want to talk about what we love. Blogging is truly amazing. It’s messy, confusing and challenging at times but it can be fun and very exhilarating.
5. Where do you get your inspiration to blog?
I get my inspiration from a variety of sources. Most of the time I get inspired from things I am loving, events that I am attending, or even people in my life. The world around me inspires me and gives me the fuel to be creative and express myself.
Can I be cliché and say all of them? It is my blog, so I can, right? Anyways, I do love all of my Currently posts. They're fun to work on and I feel like I'm always being 100% honest, not that I'm not honest other times but when I write them they feel so raw and so me. Plus that's when I get to share all of the thing I am loving, planning, and etc.
• Cue the insecurities that makes me question if my blog will ever be as successful.
• Cue the constant voice in my head whether I should put ads or not.
• Cue the self doubt that makes me question if I'm good enough to be a blogger.
UGH! Blogging has so many ups and a fair share of downs but it's okay to share them. Blogging isn't always easy and I definitely learned to be patient with myself and others.
8. Are you serious about blogging, or is it more for fun?
I think my entire blog is fun. I mean I have a lot of fun working on my blog, it's entertaining. If the question was is your blog more personal or serious (business)? Than my answer would be 75% serious and 25% personal.
Simple! Continue to grow as a lifestyle blogger and hopefully become a successful blogger one day.
Don’t be scared – JUST DO IT! But also don’t be discourage by the lack of feedback for all of your effort. Don't let the lack of Instagram likes or followers get to you, that doesn’t define you! You are valuable, you are enough and you matter. Just keep setting new goals and keep loving what you do, you will get there.
So what’s my biggest blogging confession? Honestly that I seriously love you all so much. I hope this tag helped you know me a little better! Thanks Juliana for this awesome tag and thank you for reading.
Tag posts are one of my favorites to do and read since you get to learn so much! I really enjoyed reading this post and can relate so much especially on wanting to grow your adiance/platform and wanting to interact more. I'm so glad I have you a friend and a fellow blogger to relate to and be able to talk about blogging things with.
