August Favorites

August was definitely a memorable month! I had an incredible experience at OutsideLands, expect a post all about it soon. It was my sisters birthday, there was an eclipse, I got tickets to a very exciting and sold out exhibition which I will be sharing in the future. I booked my next vacation and my bff Juliana moved to Washington, I'm still not over it. With that said, the month of August is close to an end and I am here to bring you all my monthly favorites! Let's start!

My first monthly favorite is the Herbivore Rose Hibiscus Coconut Water Hydrating Face Mist, An all-natural face mist with coconut water, hibiscus, and rose to instantly revitalize the your skin. I don't know about you but I love a good face mist. I've using the Mario Badescu Rosewater facial spray for a while now and it's incredible considering its only ($7, 4. oz). When I heard about the Herbivore face mist I wasn't sure if it was worth it. Luckily I received a deluxe sample size, so I was able to give it a good try before purchasing it. It scent is so delightful, like a nice clean rose scent, and it feel so refreshing to spray on. I was constantly refreshing my skin with this spray at Outsidelands and it felt so good! If I'm in a hurry to get ready in the morning, I give myself a couple of sprays and my skin feels hydrate, refreshed, and it helps me wake up! I highly recommend this spray!

Earlier this month, one of my clients gave me a gift card with a very generous amount. So I decided to splurge on some kitchen items, which bring me to my next monthly favorite, the Martha Stewart 8-Piece Pastel Melamine Bowl Set. This beautiful pearly pastel bowl set included a range of sizes suitable for anything from mixing to serving. I immediately knew I wanted this set when I saw it online, the color is perfect for my kitchen and I've been in need of some bowl with lids. I've been using them constantly this month, storing extra food, mixing food, everything. I'm so in love!

My next monthly favorite is the Martha Stewart Enameled Cast Iron Round Casserole in Pink Sea Salt. I'm all about creating great food in an aesthetically pleasing kitchen, aka my kitchen. Just like the bowls I knew immediately I needed this for my kitchen. This 2 quart casserole is perfect for slowing cooking and goes from oven to table with style and ease. It so beautiful and so easy to cook and bake with it!

Lastly, my last monthly favorite and also purchased with the gift card was the Kate Spade Cameron Street Stacy Wallet in Prickly Pear. This slim wallet contains 12 handy card slots, four billfold compartments, and an ID window. It's the perfect wallet for any handbag. I've been wanting a red wallet ever since I purchased my Harveys Alice in Wonderland Purse, I wasn't in a rush to purchase one but I knew when I saw the one I liked I would buy it. I've been using this wallet all month long and I'm obsessed! Not only does it fit all my cards but the texture is perfect not slippery, it's classy, and everyone has been commenting me on my gorgeous wallet.

Well I hope you enjoyed my August Favorites, what are some of your favorite items this month? Comment below, I'll love to know.

What's your opinion?

  1. It's still pretty weird to me that we don't live as close as we used to and won't be able to do our weekly hang outs like before :( Where's your next trip? That cast iron dish is so cute I will need one of those eventually. The wallet is so cute too!
