Chihuly Garden and Glass | She & Him Adventures

Welcome to another She & Him Adventures! During our visit to Seattle we to stop by the beautiful Chihuly Garden and Glass exhibit located in the Seattle Center. Chihuly Garden and Glass showcases the glass sculptures of Dale Chihuly. Ricky and I are fascinated with glass art, so coming here was a must! And let's just say this place absolutely blew our minds. Dave Chihuly is a talented, no genius glass sculptor! The exhibiton showcases some of his spectacular art from his career. I could speak so much about him but instead enjoy these photographs I took of his sculptures during our visit to the Chihuly Garden and Glass exhibition.
This colorful glass ceiling was everything!
I love that throughout the rooms they have photographers that can take as many photos as you want and you can email them to yourself, free of cost at the end of your walk. They are high quality pictures, so I suggest you to take advantage of the photo opportunities they provide.
This boat is life size, so you can imagine how big these these glass sculptures are.
After seeing the indoor exhibition, Ricky and I watched a demonstration of glass blowing live! It was so magical to see them create a sculpture. I must say it did seem like a tedious process. It makes you wonder how some of the sculptures were even made.
Next we went to the outdoor garden exhibition. The garden exhibit was my favorite because they integrate nature with glass art.
I am in love with this picture above. It captured a Chihuly sculpture, nature, the Space Needle, and Ricky and I.
The Chihuly Garden and Glass exhibition is beautiful! Even if you're not into glass art there is something worth looking at from every angle. Overall, Chihuly is a one of a kind experience. Be prepared to spend some time here. The exhibit is modest in size but you will find yourself actually staring at some pieces longer than others.

Thank you Chihuly for an incredible experience and thank you for reading!

What's your opinion?

    1. Right! Glass art is so beautiful. SJSU has a glass class and for October they sell very beautiful glass pumpkins and I always say I'm going to buy one but I never end up getting one.
