For about two years now, I've become a self-proclaimed skincare enthusiast. Even though I have certain products that are a staple in my skincare routine, I am always looking forward to new skincare products. Skincare brands strive to make your skin look beautiful, so they are always advancing and improving their formulas. Lately, I've been looking at many skincare products and I've been adding them to my Sephora shopping card. Today, I wanted to share with you all the skincare products I am most excited to try. Let's take a look!
The first two products are from the brand The Ordinary, a clinical skincare brand with integrity. Their formulas offer results that are anything but ordinary. The brand is know for their original high-quality formulas offered at refreshing prices. I've included the prices because the prices are unbelievable.
This toner contains Glycolic Acid, an alpha hydroxyl acid (AHA), that exfoliates the skin. This 7% toning solution offers mild exfoliation to improve skin radiance and visible clarity. The formula also improves the appearance of skin texture. Since I am in the market for a new toner, this toner really caught my attention since I'm all about improving my skin texture!
This peeling solution contains a combined 32% (AHA) and Beta hydroxyl acids (BHA), which offers a deeper exfoliation to help fight visible blemishes and improve skin radiance. The formula also improves the appearance of skin texture and reduces the look of fine lines. I've seen many reviews on this peeling solution and people have said they see a huge difference overnight, reviews even say this solution is a miracle in a bottle. I am very intrigued with all of the skincare products The Ordinary makes and I hope to try at least these two products in the near future.
Recently, I had shown a friend of mine some of my scars that make me feel very self-conscious and she recommended me to try this next product.
A powerful, high-tech rollerball scar-fighting serum designed to reduce the appearance of scars and uneven texture. Texture tho! This serum helps reduce the appearance of old and new scars. In an independent clinical study after 4 weeks; 100% of users showed significant improvement in scar texture and smoothness and 92% had decreased scar thickness. How amazing does that sound! I've never used a scar diminishing serum, so I am really looking forward to diminishing some of my scars.
Like I mentioned earlier I am all about improving my skin texture and this next product has been highly talked about by many skincare professionals.
Drunk Elephant T.L.C. Sukari Babyfacial™ $80.00
A 25% AHA and 2% BHA mask that works as a facial to reveal greater clarity, improved skin texture and tone, and a more youthful-looking radiance. It's also great for reducing rough texture which I am currently suffering from on my cheeks and I hate it. This product is definitely pricey but I've heard such good things about it. I'm hoping to buy this soon!
I'm all about that Mario Badescu Facial Spray Rosewater but this next product sounds so lovely!
A hydrating toner created with pure plant actives and no fillers. A base of coconut water is infused with youth-boosting hibiscus flower petals and moisture-enhancing Bulgarian rose to tone, hydrate, and soften all skin types. I've been seeing this bottle everywhere online and I love it! The simple design really caught my attention. After I apply my makeup, I love using a face mist and since I am almost out of my Mario Badescu Facial Spray Rosewater, I might have to pick this one up. The only thing I kind of dislike is the price tag.
Lastly, I am a huge fan of everything Fresh and the next skincare product I've been eyeing for months.
A gentle toner formula that helps improve your skin. This alcohol-free cleansing toner is infused with real rose petals to remove residual impurities, refine the appearance of pores, and soften skin for a healthy-looking complexion. First of all, like I mentioned above I am in need of a new toner and secondly, I love roses. I know it's a bit pricey but I've heard and read this toner is so worth the price tag. I've smelled it in person and it smells so lovely. I think I'll finally buy this toner during my next visit to Sephora.
I'm loving all the blush tones in this post. So esthetically pleasing! I've been seeing a lot about that brand The Ordinary I had no idea their products were so cheap! I'm running out of my night time cleanser and I'm debating if I want to try the one from Kate Somerville.
ReplyDeleteThank you! I didn't even notice all the products had a blush tone until I was putting this post together. ♥ Yaaa! I've been hearing a lot of good things about The Ordinary and I've been tempted to try it but I've been researching and seeing what would work best for me. They have a few really good Kate Somerville kits a Sephora that have a little bit of all of their products, I'm like tempted to buy one.
DeleteI love how theres a few rose products too, I've been wanting all the rose scented products lately. The Kate Somerville serum sounds really good, I'd want to give that a try along with the acne cleanser.
ReplyDeleteYaaas! Everything rose scented for me too!
DeleteBeautiful post.
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeletePLEASE, let me know how the toning solution works out for you!
ReplyDeleteI'm still trying to get my hands on the toning solution but I did buy The Ordinary peeling solution along with one of their serum but if I get to buy it and try it, I'll let you know.
DeleteOoooh how do you rate The Ordinary peeling solution? I've been seeing this brand EVERYWHERE!
ReplyDeleteSharni // A Girl & Grey
I've been using it for about a month and it's such a great product! I notice a huge difference already, my skin feel smoother and brighter. I must warn you it's stings! But it makes sense since its 30% AHA. So just be careful, you will feel that tingling burning sensation.
