June Favorites

Wow! Half of the year has gone by already, is it just me or did time goes by so quickly? Since June has come to an end, I have for you all my June Favorites!

This past month I splurged on skincare products, I'm still trying them out and getting the feel whether I love them or not. However, all the products I will be talking about today I have been using for over a month or longer and I love them! So without further ado, let's start!

My first monthly favorite is the Mudmasky Facial Detox Purifying Recovery Mask. I received this mask in my March Ipsy Glam Bag, I started using it in May and after the first try I fell in love. It works to preserve moisture, refine pores and brightens your skin. It also get rid of germs, toxins, and bacteria found on your face. I love when masks dry and tighten your skin and this mask has been by far the tightest mask I've ever felt, and I loved it! This mask also helps to balance your skin’s pH for a perfect complexion and your skin becomes visibly healthier, and feels energized. The only thing I dislike is that the full size product is $77!!! I know skincare is not cheap but I can't see myself spending $77 at the moment for this mask considering I recently bought the Drunk Elephant T.L.C. Sukari Babyfacial™, and that itself was expensive.

My next monthly favorite is the Lush Herbalism Face and Body Cleanser. Last month I started breaking out a little bit more than usual and I wasn't sure if it was my skin purging, hormonal breakouts, or stress? Who knows! But anyways, I wanted to try a new face cleanser and I've been eyeing Herbalism for a while. This cleanser is perfect for those battling with oily, troubled skin. Herbalism is a gentle green exfoliating, deep-cleansing cleanser base of kaolin clay and rice bran to mop up excess oils, and a toning blend of rosemary, nettle and chamomile to leave your skin feeling fresh, clean and calm! So far this cleanser has been great! It's the perfect amount of exfoliation my skin needs and it's amazing how little product you need to use. It's probably the best cleanser I have ever used and my skin is not breaking out! I am so happy to say goodbye to my troubled skin!

I know I'm always talking about Lush but next monthly favorite is their Ro's Argan Body Conditioner. Yes! I had this product in a previous monthly favorites, specifically in my March Favorites, but this body conditioner is so amazing! Since Summer is here and we've been given some beautiful sunny days in California, I've been shaving my leg more frequent. Whenever I shave my legs, I slathered this delicious, fruity rose-scented body conditioner. Its the perfect deep moisturizer your skin needs after shaving. It leaves my legs feeling so soft and you only need to use a little amount! It's worth the buy! Believe me! I highly recommend this product, especially for Summer!

My next monthly favorite is the Bath and Body Works Blushing Pink Rose Petals Candle. It's been a while since I've purchased a candle but when my friend Juliana showed me this candle I knew I had to buy one, or two. This candle a beautiful rose scented candle with notes of Rose Petals, White Cedarwood, and Luxe Sandalwood. It reminded me a lot of the Winter Rose candle I talked about last year in my November favorites. It's a lovely rose scent! I was happy burning this candle everyday, up until we started to get 100°+ weather.

Lastly, my last monthly favorite is not a product but a website, Tasty on Buzzfeed/Youtube. The perfect website for snack-sized videos and recipes you'll want to try! I love seeing their videos, they make everything look so easy to make, and guess what? It's actually pretty easy, if you have all the ingredients and tools of course. Not only do they provide you with awesome videos and great recipes but they actually give you a lot of cool and helpful tips. Check them out if you haven't! I've also link below 5 of their recipes that I've recently tried out and I love. Let's just say Tasty is so tasty!

• One-Pan Salmon And Rainbow Veggies.
• Chili Lime Tilapia with Avocado Crema.
• Enchilada-Inspired Stuffed Shells.
• Ramen You Will Love.
• Loaded Baked Potatoes Four Ways.

Well I hope you enjoy my June Favorites. Do you have any favorites this month? Comment below, I'll love to know.

What's your opinion?

  1. I love Tasty! Rudy was just talking about wanting to look up some recipes of theirs so I can try out for dinner. I love Ro's conditioner I'm finishing up my Snow Fairy one then I'm going to begin using it again.

I feel I too splurged on skin care this month but much needed since I was running out on a lot of products. I wanted to include some of them in this months favorite but I knew it wasn't be completely fair since I should use it longer to see if I'm really pleased with them.

    1. Yes they are too good! I actually found another Tasty recipe yesterday for shrimp tacos and I made them today and they were too good!

I regret never buying that Snow Fairy one and I know what you mean. I feel like skincare product you need at least a full month-two month to give a good and truthful review of the product.

  2. I'm for sure going to be trying Lush Herbalism Face and Body Cleanser when I go back to SJ. I'm missing out on a lot of Lush products. ): But thanks to you I already have a list lol.

    1. Ugh Lush is seriously the best! I love all their stuff. If it wasn't for wanting to try a few other skincare brands, I think my whole skincare routine would be strictly Lush products.
