I have been so busy getting everything ready for my trip this month, that I haven't made much time to work on my blog. However, today I have for you all another life update post, also known as my Currently series. Without further ado let's get into my currently...
I am currently loving my hair! I took this cover picture a few days after my first session and this past week I just had my second and final session. My hair is finally back to grey and I am loving it so much! I seriously love how I look with grey hair and the confidence it gives me. It makes me so happy and I am so glad I got it professionally done. I know bleaching and achieving this hair color can be hard and damaging for your hair but my hairstylist took such good care of me and my hair. I couldn't be any happier with the results. 
Something I don't really talk about is my weight. Personally, I feel because I have an average slim body I can't ever say I feel a bit overweight. I've mentioned to strangers, coworkers, and even my own friends that I feel a bit overweight and I need to start working out, and I can see them rolling their eyes and telling me "oh you are not fat, why are you complaining." First of all I don't think it's complaining nor am I fishing for that "you're not fat compliment." It's not even a compliment. The reason I've been currently contemplating about my weight is because we all have a happy weight and mine is normally between 115-120. However, after the holidays I did gain a few pound, I was at 125 but my weight was fluctuating between 125-130. I became a bit obsessed with weighing myself daily and weighing yourself daily is definitely not good for your mental health, so I stopped. It had been a few months since I've weighed myself but I did this past weekend. I kind of wanted to know where I was at before my trip. After weighing myself, I am not going to lie I almost broke down. I am currently between 135-140. Like I said my weight fluctuates a lot, on Sunday I was at 140 and today I weight myself and I was at 135. I am definitely not happy with my weight and I need to do something about it. For the most part I already eat pretty healthy, especially at home but I think after my trip I will either join a gym or start working out at home because clearly it's not all about eating healthy only but also being active.
I am currently watching TOO MANY good shows and unfortunately a few of them came to an end. One being Bates Motel, Bates is probably one of my all time favorite shows. There was never a dull moment and I am so sad it came to an end. I definitely recommend it if you are into horror drama TV shows. Another show I just binged watch was Girlboss, a Netflix original comedy series base on Sophia Amoruso's best-selling book, that follows the rise of Amoruso's multi-million dollar fashion empire, Nasty Gal. It was a funny show and overall very inspirational. I don't want to bored you by talking about bunch of shows again but definitely check those two out.
When it comes to music I literally feel like I listen to everything. I'm always going through such a change with genres. One week I can be obsessed with just listening to Alternative Rock and another week into Rap. Sometimes I'll be blasting some oldies and other days I'll be listening to my favorite 90's jams but currently I've been obsession with Kendrick Lamar new album, DAMN. Words can't even explain how much I love his album, it's the first thing I play in the morning and after I give it one full listen, I mix my playlist and add some songs by The xx. I recently saw The xx live and it made me love them even more and I was already a huge fan to begin with! Their song On Hold, gets me so pumped up. 
In case you don't know Ricky and I are about to go on vacation next week. We will be traveling up to Portland, OR for a few days, then Seattle, WA, and lastly Vancouver, BC. This week I've been focus on planning a few more places we would love to visit while we are there. At the moment I have a full schedule set for Seattle, however for Portland and Vancouver we have a bit more free time. I've been looking at bunch of websites and asking a few of my friends for any suggestion. So if you do have any suggestiong feel free to comment below. Another thing I've been planning is all of my packing, I hate packing last minute and Ricky is a last minute packer. So this week I've been doing laundry and putting some clothes aside that I am planning to wear. I am hoping to be packed and ready to go by this weekend. Oh I also just ordered some Canadian Dollars from my local Chase bank. I figured instead of wasting time going somewhere in Canada to exchange money, I do it here. It was super easy and it only takes two days for your foreign money to arrive. I suggest always plan ahead and get everything you will need ahead of time, especially foreign money.

  2. Girl I love your hair before and after the 2nd session. You definitely rock the gray! The overweight, that's everyone's personal thing. It's about you and how you feel so don't even let other people tell you what's wrong or right with your body. I've never finished watching bates motel lol & I barely started Girlboss, I guess I'm falling behind. & Yes sis, the album DAMN. is my fav too! 😩🙌🏼 & ahhh I'm so excited for your trip lol, have fun! ☺️
