October Favorites

October was a really good month. I accomplished many personal tasks, worked extra hours, and even put in more time to my blog. Now that October has come to an end, it is time to say hello to rain, fall leaves, cocoa, scarves, boots, and my favorite, another monthly favorites!

My first monthly favorite is the Coffee-mate Pumpkin Spice Creamer. I've never really been into flavor creamers, I'm more of a simple half-half kind of girl. However, ever since I tried my new usual drink at Starbuck that I mentioned in my Currently post, I love that hint of pumpkin flavor. Lately, whenever I been making myself a coffee at home I've been really enjoying using this pumpkin spice creamer.

Next I have another coffee item and it is the Green Mountain Coffee French Vanilla. For a while I've been a fan of Green Mountain coffee but I don't think I've ever tried their french vanilla until this month. Even though I don't love the smell of vanilla, when this coffee is brewing it makes my apartment smell so good. Not only does it smell good but it taste delicious. I love waking up in the morning and brewing myself a cup of this french vanilla coffee and add the Coffee-mate Pumpkin Spice Creamer, it's the perfect cup of Joe.

My next monthly favorite and kind of random is Smucker's Peach Preserves. Earlier this month Ricky and I went for brunch at a local restaurant here in downtown. We both had their brunch sandwich which had peach preserves on one side. It was such a strange combination with the lettuce, tomatoes and avocado but somehow it worked. It was so delicious that the next day we went to buy some peach preserves. This month for lunch we have been enjoying eating toasted sandwiches with peach preserves. It's the perfect combination of sweet and savory, I highly recommend you to try it.

This month I also purchased my new favorite kitchen appliance the Keurig 2.0 K200 Coffee Maker. I've had a standard Black Keurig for years but after seeing this mint color Keurig at Target I knew I had to get it. After thinking about it for a while, I was a bit hesitant on buying it since my Keurig was still in perfect condition. However, the color was too beautiful to pass and when my friend Juliana got it and showed it to me in her kitchen I fell in love. I didn't know what to do with my old one and I knew I would feel terrible just throwing it away. Eventually I talked to my brother and he decided to take my old Keurig. I am so glad it went to a good owner, he uses it on a daily basis. Now, I am left with a beautiful mint color Keurig in my kitchen. I might have to share with you all a new picture of my kitchen, of course once I put all the Halloween decorations away.

Next I have a beauty product and it is the Ciaté London Fierce Flicks Eyeliner. I received this eyeliner in my October Ipsy Glam Bag. It has been by far my favorite eyeliner that Ipsy has sent. Usually I am pretty disappointed in the eyeliners they send. However this eyeliner is easy to use and really pigmented, the black is literally a deep dark black. I've been using this eyeliner everyday since I got it and I'll most likely be repurchasing it again.

Lastly for my monthly favorites I have the Daiso Japan Natural Pack Charcoal Peel Off Mask. I have seen many Youtube videos and reviews on this products, most of them have been good. However, there have been a few reviews that say removing this mask is painful. I can see how it can be painful especially if you have hair on your face. I wouldn't recommend using this mask as a full face mask. Personally haven't tried it as a full face mask and I don't think I will. But I highly recommend using this mask on your nose and any small areas you have major pores. I've been using this mask once or twice a week mainly on my nose and sometimes on my chin. I've seen such an improvement on my nose and when you peel off the mask you see results immediately.

Well I hope you enjoyed my October Favorites. I am kind of sad it's come to and end. That means no more Halloween related post or decorations around my apartment but I am very excited for whats to come in the Holidays. See you all next time!
