The Wizarding World of Harry Potter | She & Him Adventures

I am so happy I can finally share with you all my photographs from The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. Ricky and I went with my siblings and their wives about two weeks ago. I wanted to post about it earlier. However, Ricky took my camera because he left to to Germany the day after we came back from our trip.

Out of all of the places inside Universal Studios Hollywood, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter was by far our favorite place. When we walked into it was just so surreal and breath taking. We couldn't believe we were walking into the world of Harry Potter. I think I was way too excited that I forgot to take a lot of pictures like I normally would when I visit a new place. I was just too focused on looking at everything and taking it in. Ricky kept looking at me and noticing how happy I was but luckily he would remind me to take pictures.

I hope you all enjoy the photographs from my trip. I'll be talking about the rest of my trip to Universal Studios Hollywood later on this week but for today I hope you enjoy entering into the Wizarding World of Harry Potter.

This was the legendary shop of sweets, Honeydukes. It was by far my favorite shop. Everything was so sweet and adorable from the candy to the windows, I loved it all.
Of course you know I needed to pick up one of these Chocolate Frogs. The nice witch that ringed me up reminded me to take a bite from the legs because they tend to jump.
Seriously, could Madam Puddifoot's Tea Shop windows get any cuter?
Ollivanders Wand Shop was by far the most packed shop of all. They had a line on the side forming and I'm not talking about the line to meet Ollivander, I'm talking about the line to just go into his shop. Luckily, Ricky and I kind of knew what wands we wanted. Well I was debating between a couple of them but he knew which wand he wanted but wasn't telling me until we walked into Ollivanders. I'll keep you guys wondering what wands we got until my haul later on this week. Feel free to comment down below any guesses you have.
One of the rides inside The Wizarding World of Harry Potter was the Flight of the Hippogriff. This was the first outdoor family-friendly roller coaster that teaches you how to properly approach a Hippogriff while going on spirals and dives around a pumpkin patch and Hagrid's Hut. We knew from seeing it that it wasn't going to be an amazing ride. There was no wait to get on it but if there was more than a 10 minute wait it would of not been worth it. Ricky had mentioned that it should of gone twice or three time around for it to be enjoyable and worth waiting.
My mind was blown away when I saw Hogwarts. It was so beautiful and huge, I was amazed. I was so excited to go inside since I had heard great reviews about the structure inside and the ride itself. Ricky and I quickly rushed to get on it.

The ride is called Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey and it is the second and last ride at The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. In this ride you make your way through familiar classrooms and corridors of Hogwarts. Then you soar above the castle grounds along with Harry Potter and his friends and you go through an unforgettable ride that involves Quittage, Large Spiders, and even the Dementors.
Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey was by far my favorite ride out of all the rides inside Universal Studios. They did an amazing job incorporating the 3-D in the ride and I literally felt like I was flying. I was so pleased with it that I wanted to get on it again.

After an amazing day at The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, we treated our self to some Butterbeer and some shopping. We got the regular Butterbeer, not the iced one. It was really good but we kind of wished we got the iced one since it wasn't chilled enough.
While walking around both The Wizarding World of Harry Potter and the rest of Universal Studios I got bunch of compliments about my Mickey Deathly Hallows T-shirt. I especially got compliments when I walked into shops and indoor rides since my shirt was glow-in-the-dark. People kept asking me where I bought it and they would immediately get disappointed when I said I made it since they knew they couldn't buy it. I even chit-chatted for a while with an employee because he was obsessed with my shirt since he was a huge Disney and Harry Potter fan.
The Wizarding World of Harry Potter was an amazing experience, it was by far our favorite section inside Universal Studios Hollywood and we will definitely be returning back again soon. That's all for now until next time.
