Ipsy: May Glam Bag

Earlier this month I received my Ipsy May Glam Bag. I been meaning to blog about it but things came up and I didn't have any time but here I am now and I'm ready to share with you all my glam bag.

I was very excited when I got the email that my bag was shipped. I had seen a preview of this month's bag and I was very pleased with the design of the bag. They had three different color options that you could possibly receive; Pink, Blue, and Purple. For some reason I felt I was going to get the blue one but I ended up getting the purple one which I was happy about. I love how this bag opens, normally they have a zipper on top but this one has a button on the center and it opens like an envelope. I've been subscribed to Ipsy for about two years now and I have never received a bag like this. I am very content that they have ventured out on the shapes of the bags. Now let's move on to the inside of the bag. This month's glam bag focused on Destination Chic, whether you're hitting the road or enjoying staycation get ready and set for an adventure.
The first product I got was this Pacifica Natural Mineral Coconut Eye Shadow Trio. This eyeshadow trio comes with the colors Skinny Dip, Crush, and Lovely. They are rich, long lasting eye shadows infused with coconut for a velvety finish. I really liked the colors in this trio and I love how it is 100% Vegan and Cruelty-Free. I hardly ever apply eyeshadow but I do feel I could use the lighter shade as a highlighter. I think this is going to come very handy when I don't want to travel with a lot of make up. I can easily make a quick natural look with this and also have a highlighter.

The second product inside my glam bag was an Aurora Gel Effect Nail Polish in the color Safety Orange. If that name doesn't already sound bad then I don't know what's wrong with you. Nail polishes are like the second thing I hate getting in my bags especially when it's a color I know I will not wear. I'll probably end up giving this nail polish away.

The third item I got is a Vera Mona Eye Smudger BrushI thought it was just an eyeshadow brush at first but once I read the name and saw it was for smudging, I figured I should give it a try and not hate it right away.

The next product I got was Épicé International Hydrating Mask. This mask will be very useful with the warmer weather around the corner to keep my skin hydrated. This refreshing mask uses Kaolin Clay to absorb oil and impurities without stripping your skin of moisture. This is the third item I have received in my glam bag from Épicé International and I have always love their facial products.
Lastly, I got an It-Cosmetics No Tug Waterproof Gel Eyeliner. This No-Tug Gel Eyeliner glides on easily, so there's no more pulling and uneven lines. got really excited when I received this. I been wanting to try some of It-Cosmetics products but I haven't gotten around to buying any. I thought this eyeliner was only for your waterline and I don't wear eyeliner on my waterline. However, upon reading the directions on the back and realizing it is a twistable eyeliner, I figured out I could definitely use this on the top and bottom of my lash lines which I am very happy about.

The eyeliner and the Hydrating Mask were probably by far my favorite product from this month glam bag on top of the design of the bag. I hope you enjoyed my May Glam Bag see you all next time.
